The Waverider took a detour to Metropolis to check in on the Kent family. They are certainly put to the test this week! After Jordan narrowly escapes a confrontation with Tag, his powers go into overdrive and he's unable to control himself. He almost loses control after a football game and Johnathan steps in to prevent Jordan from killing his former bully. Instead, Johnathan ends up with a broken hand and a halted football career. Meanwhile, Lois tries to keep up with Luthor as they team up to find out why Edge is interested in the Smallville mines. Clark and Sam Lane end up at odds with one another when they disagree on how to handle Tag's escape.
