The Waverider has landed beside the Kent barn in Smallville. Superman cannot get close to the mines without his visions crashing him. Clark is lashing out at both boys and is out of control. The feelings are not his but coming from the thing in the mines. John Henry heads into the mines but is taken out by Dr. Faulkner. But the thing is breaking out. It takes Steel & Superman to run Doomsday off, but not before Kal sees it is a Bizarro version of himself. Lois & Sam spar over his fatherhood and Lucy's involvement in the cult.
