Tlingit Lessons, a Story, and Conversation

This week on “Gunalchéesh!”, we feature the Tlingit language.  We will hear teacher Virginia Oliver and student Mia Wiederspoon from Wrangell. We will hear a production of “The Town Bear and The Forest Bear” with Ethel Makinen.  We will also hear the end of a conversation between Lorraine Adams and Vincent Johnson.  In between, hear two songs by Sondra Segundo (Haida) as well as songs by Dave Nelson III (Ts’msyen), Guujaaw (Haida), Pamyua (Yupik), Khu.éex' (Tlingit), and Dionne Brady-Howard (Tlingit).
