TLRS Ep.34: Selena Barbie, Caregivers

This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about the $7 million quinceañera celebrated by Maya Henry in San Antonio. The event included performances by Pitbull and Nick Jonas and required that a 55,000-square-foot facility be constructed on the Six Flags Fiesta Texas grounds to host the party. Selena fans are trying to have a commemorative Selena Barbie created by Mattel. The change.org petition needs 7,500 signatures, and (as of today) is still missing more than 1,000 to meet the goal. We discuss the challenges facing children of aging parents, in particular daughters.
