TMI 11/29/2024 - The Origin of Black Friday, Whites Voted Trump Into Power, Texas' D&C Effective Ban Claims Another Life, NY Times' Call For Better Treatment of Trans Haters Betrayed by Rowling, more

We start this week with a staple of TMI's Black Friday episodes, with Aldous giving the true story of how Black Friday got its name. Next, we note that no matter how bewildered we may be at Latino or Black support for Trump this year, White people have to face facts: there are too many of us to overcome if enough of us want something. Then, we look at how state abortion bans, like the one in Texas, stops doctors from performing necessary procedures like D&Cs to save the life of people who have miscarried. Finally, we go over how the New York Times' exhortation that we should all be nicer to those spreading anti-trans messaging got blown up a few days later when J.K. Rowling decided to savagely go after Barbra Banda for legitimately winning a women's sports award. All this and more on TMI for Friday, November 29, 2024 – listen in for YOUR Cure for the Common Media!
