TMJ 069: Studying For Step 3 Prep, Overview, Study Schedule

We’re finally talking about Step 3; an overview on what it is, my study schedule and more!  The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3 is the last test you have to take to become a licensed medical doctor in the United States. It definitely sets itself apart from Step 1 and Step 2 with the pressure of it being the last test standing on your way to get that converted M.D. In Step 3, you’ll also get a mix of case simulation and multiple-choice exams which can be quite daunting.In a few weeks, I am finally taking the test and I will walk you through my thoughts, preparation and experience through it all. This will be the start of a video series where we’ll talk about everything Step 3 so you’d know what to expect and become better prepared for itI have started laying out a plan, a process and my initial thoughts on how to tackle this. I have a schedule and UWORLD ready, but things can definitely change especially while balancing my studies with work in the hospital.
