Though raised in the San Francisco Bay Area blues hotbed, she didn’t see a place for herself in the music until she got turned on to the Delta sound. Now in New Orleans, she’s a woman on a mission, playing and recording with guitar virtuoso Jimmy Robinson as well as her Cosmic Gentlemen band.
