Yo, yo. Yo, yep. Yup. So I'm going to put that link in here now so you guys have it.
Um, so yeah, um, you know, this Thursday night football going on as uh, Steelers and the Browns are playing, um, not, uh, depends on where you are, not the best teams in the world to watch right now, given the situations at quarterback, but nevertheless, um, it's been entertaining so far. Uh, Nick Chup got off for a big run, Trubisky threw one down to pick his pick and one of the catch. I was a nice care. Yeah.
Yeah. Not to hear somebody. He, he, he really is. I hate that he doesn't have a better quarterback to start his career with.
That dude, if he, I mean, it's supposed to, it's supposed to be picket. So, you know, we'll see. You think they're going to pick it? I really don't think they are.
I really don't think they're going to make a move. I think that by week six, if it's not the way that it's supposed to look, they're not going to fuck with him no more. They don't bring you pick it. How was it supposed to look?
That's what I'm trying to figure out. I think you have to, it's all about to meet the flavor. It's all about like, how does it look when you lose? How does it look when you win?
What's the record? You know, I mean, it's a lot of factors. So if he's getting blown out and he's going to pick out the pick out the pick, if it's close losses, TJ's out, he's keeping you in position. And you know, you got to keep sitting, pick it so he can learn, you know.
I think they're scared with this line being like it is, though, man, because they can't run the ball at all. And I don't want, well, I don't think that they would want to put exposed, pick it to any undue harm to his mental or to his physical health. But that's the only thing I can think of because I agree with you. You should, you should be weak for if it stays like this, because they're not getting the ball downfield.
The receivers are complaining, Chase, K, quick, who was complaining. They're not, they're not handed out. And you got all these studs out on the outside. They got to, they got to do something.
It looks similar to how it would be able to say the same thing. Actually, what does Chase sleep on? I have to look it up and see, I saw he was complaining, but regardless, he's been doing that since I think the last the last year, been the last two years of Ben and whatnot, because I think he's just saying that he needs more of a chance. Like he needs more, he needs more time to work or he needs the ball quicker.
You know what I mean? Like he needs the ball higher. He needs the ball, you know what I mean? However, he's telling it to him.
It's just not getting to him. And what I observe the line is bad. Now, you can't get off the way. He's supposed to get off.
I think Pickens is not going to even be who he's really even supposed to be until he gets whoever we think pick it could be or the quarterback that is going to unlock that potential. Because I think he has a very wide re-type of frame where he reminds me of like the O del types. Yeah, they gave him a comp, but like just from body type, he reminds me of that. He's not quite, you know, must be enough to be a DK Metcalf, but he's big like that.
But he's not, you know, say a must be like, like they have that same build. So the Auntie Johnson, Claypool, all these different weapons should be able to be utilized differently. So, Tribisky, to me, he's the least of my worries. I'm trying to see what is my defense look like on the back half.
And I'm trying to see what is the growth on my O line, who's going to step up, who's going to get cut because it really matter who you put in there. Unless you're just like losing terribly. That's where you kind of draw the line and say, all right, Pickett, you've got to go. Yeah, I know they seem to be upset with this OC.
So we'll see how things go with that. But yeah, right now that defense is just it's not looking good. You got a little bit of a percent, dude, this is a bro, like, come on, man. What are you doing?
See, it's tough for them because they can't they have some trouble stopping to run and TJ's not there. So they're not getting the pressure that they're used to getting. So this defense doesn't look like a normal Pittsburgh defense. Only that standsy, they all over the place and too, they on the field too long, because it's too many, three and out because they're not, you know, they have them like three yards of carry.
They can't move the ball. It's like not going their way. They need something to help the other side. They need to get turnovers or some type of ball controls so they can get the ball rolling.
That's what they're missing. But I think going back a little bit, can you pick it and use the plate? Because sometimes that new energy, it just, it's infectious. And also, I think he's a playmaker.
You know, every time he's been on the field, it looks better than what it does when you're busy. And we talk about Mitch Travisky dog, like real talk, like Mitch Travisky. Come on, man, you know you're limited. I don't care what you do.
They do got some horses on the outside. You know what I'm saying? You need a guy that can get them to rock. And even if it's not in perfect timing, right, as office is very choreographed, Kenny can make plays.
I need to go off script better than Travisky. So yeah, the old line that's suspect Pittsburgh's not a perfect team. But at the end of the day, man, like let the young man rumble real talk. You don't think that can hurt his confidence?
If he don't come out right? He a professional athlete, may he? Is he like 29? Well, he up there.
He is up there. That is true. He's older than some of those young guys now. So he's probably about I think Kenny Pickett is about 25.
Can you think he didn't 27 years old if I'm mistaken? But regardless, like at the end of the day, he was the first one I think, right? Right? He's going to get two years, at least two, maybe three.
So roll the dice, know what you got. Get film on him. Hey, this is how we get better. So he's yeah, I can't, y'all can't make the case to me that you're risky, better.
He's fully pulled out. He's, oh, he's, yeah, it's not, he's better than the people. I mean, I definitely don't think so. I think that pick it.
I agree with you. I think pick it as a way to go. I just think trying to speak from Pittsburgh perspective, because I want to see him play. And I say that because, like I said, we know he's already what he is.
He doesn't need development necessarily. He just needs to see if he works at this level. But it's kind of an it shouldn't be shaken because of the age factor, but we don't know. But this line is shaky, man.
They got to, they got to tighten up. They got to tighten up. Yeah, I'm just going to get it clear that I don't respect the fact that people can't see both sides. You know what I mean?
I get the people who want the Steelers to play him and the people who don't, because on the people who don't side, it's obvious that there's just certain, just certain type of mental like stressors that come with being thrust into that when you were told that you were going to be like the backup. And if you do bad, it may have some damage that lingers. And then there's people who are just like, yo, throw them in there, throw them in there and see what you have. And I think that we're just going to probably get a decision on if that's ever going to happen by week six.
If it doesn't have a bad band to go ride your risky the whole season. I'll tell you what, put him out there when you get TJ back. That way, at least your defense is fired up. You're going to get a couple extra turnovers and a couple extra possessions and that'll help him out.
Yeah. Well, number 30 just got helped out because he caught that ball up. I think he's a rookie too, but he looks quick as hell. Yeah, I saw him tonight upset me because, you know, now they have my fantasy back, but now they look like he running his mud right now.
He got you a touchdown? Yeah, he did. I was excited about that. I didn't even get some yards tonight.
And you get 40 yards with that with that touch, man. You did. That's double digits right there. And I just can't only do so much, man.
That's crazy. You know, I mean, like he can only do so much when you think about it. The line is just it's hard to over. It's hard to really like pronounce just how to shaky that old line is, man, because there's so many key spots that are missing.
To me, spots that are in flux right now on that line that don't allow for Nodgy to his running style to have a really flourish. So I want the Steelers to be better than what I think they may end up being just because certain things just may end up shaking out right again for them. But man, damn it, man, the one time that this team finally gets enough in their key positions healthy throughout the whole season, he's going to be scared for that NFL, man. And it's definitely not a white flag right now.
I'm just saying like if things continue down this trend, but I do think that they can still make a push if things like Baltimore losing the damn dolphins continues to happen every week. Like that's all right. No, we can keep losing a little bit here too. Right.
When you got the Browns and like you said, Baltimore losing games like they were, which that's understandable that they was not understandable based on where they were in that game. But and you got the Bengals line performing the way they performed. And you kind of right in it, it's like who's going to write your shit first? Pittsburgh or the Bengals?
So it's really just the way you see approach. They only move. No, let's see what happens. See what Mitch you do.
Got a couple of super chats that a little different, but I'm going to go ahead and start on some of these. Yes, I'll do. Tracy G with the first one. First off, y'all is my birthday today.
So y'all drop as many super chats as you can. I appreciate the love birthday love as much appreciated. Happy birthday to show. Yeah, same.
Tracy G said, are you all excited for being a semi-dentat, interview with JJ? You show a lot of confidence and set the record straight on a lot. I haven't seen the whole interview yet. I hope you can.
I'm sorry. I said the whole thing. We're talking about thing. Yeah, man.
Like I'm going to say right now, I'm a rational black man at the end of the day. Whatever the best sentence needs to be happy. That's cool, y'all. That's back.
That's perfectly fun. I'm not and never have been angry at Ben Simmons for any of the behavior that he exhibits within his job. It's not my job. I'm not getting paid for it.
What I have loved for him to have flourished in a way that I think could have happened if certain things occurred. That didn't during his tenure with us. Yes, but I'm never going to be like, oh my god, I fucked Ben Simmons and what was I going on. So it was a cool interview.
I appreciate his perspective on certain things. And I hope he looks good for the next man. I really do. I have none against him.
So get your paper, man. Yeah, I got to tell you about it. I didn't hear it. He falls off by the way, so he should be reconnected.
So do you believe that he's about to back this year? I think I've been Simmons his role right now this year should be. He should be 15. He should be 15 and seven.
14, 15 points. Seven eight, this is, you know what I mean? Like six, seven rebounds. Again, simple.
It's simple. Just give me three. Just give me two layups a quarter. I'm not bugging.
Like that should assemble. Two layups a quarter make three amazing passes that we've never seen in real big men do. Play incredible defense. You know what I mean?
I've never been mad at Ben Simmons as a player. He just has to be a utility that makes sense for that team. It's just always been that simple. You know what I mean?
Certain guys and NBA is all about roles and it's all about energy and it's all about movement. And it's just like Ben Simmons is the way that he moves on the court, constricted with Joel and B's movement. It's that simple. So then being able to kind of man the paint area, the top of the key, while Kyrie and whatnot, he can defend the best perimeter guys and Katie and make passes while Katie's in the corner.
Run the break with Kyrie. That's amazing. Yeah, that man should ever, he should ever double into the seats with those guys as long as they're playing, but we know how that goes. So this is the way to see it.
It would be nice to see their big three and four of these of course, but I don't know, man. It's just so hard for me to hold out hoping. I just don't believe in them. You know what these nets are going to be called?
That we should call them the theoretical nets. Yeah. As soon as Katie got there, the theoretical nets, that's what they came in. Because in theory, as soon as, you know, if they were, it's just like the ifs, the ifs, so many ifs.
Yeah, I think at the end of this saga for Brooklyn, we will look back and go, man, there were so many riding on the wall. I remember in 2022, we thought we were Ben Simmons going to get it right. Remember when we thought Katie and Kyrie were going to tough it out and we thought they were going to work after the summer trade. And so many things are riding on the wall.
There's, there's, they haven't cleaned up shit behind Coz doors. All Katie said is Katie got his hands and you know, I mean, he looked like this, man. He's just like, all right, look, I'm going to play with y'all. But don't, don't accept me to show it to no quick Christmas parties.
No parties. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to go back to my office.
Leave me my lunch and leave me alone. Like, you know what I mean? That's what it is. It's no really real.
You know, I hate to be conspiracy theories, but I think sometimes I'm like, man, if it was a black coach, he'd be catching a lot of heat for the steam right now. Can they be saying that? Yeah, Steve Nash is black. He's, they be saying he can't hold it together.
You know what I'm saying? It would be a lot more slanted that way. Steve Nash gets away. He gets such a pass.
He gets such a pass as a coach, because nobody, nobody, he's on play as a show and they don't believe it. Yeah, right. So, you know, over laughing at some, some of Lee, like, you know, like, who was he? And if he was a black coach, I'm telling you, they'd be tearing him up.
He can't hold his team together. He can't coach these guys. So Steve Nash is a lucky guy on the plane right now. No, like, and that's where I say where a lot of what Katie brought up was 100% true.
He was like, yo, you and Josiah, you all got some little like, bro, man's going over here. Y'all getting money doing insider trading and shit. Y'all got business ventures together. That's cool.
I don't want to be a part of your little like, little catalyst gang bang shit here. That's fine, bro. I'm, I'm hit a hoop, but Steve Nash don't know shit about it. No ex is an old for real like that.
He was a nice advisor for me for certain things about basketball. But I, if I'm Katie, I know what he's saying. He's just like, yo, optimally. Steve Nash is not an optimal coach for this type of team.
You know what I mean? Like, we need a more hard line type of coach. Maybe not, you know, a disciplinary like a pop, but just somebody who's going to put more structure and have more runs, one more sets. The fact that Blake Griffin, and I'm not trying to do a Nancy Deep dive during the steals game, but it's like, the fact that Blake Griffin and the Marcus Aldridge and all those guys sat, I think that kind of, kind of not, you know, upset Katie a little bit like, dude, these guys can help us.
They were part of our big run last year. So. What wasn't Steve Nash, Katie's guys? Isn't that a more of this coach?
That's what I was referring to when it's like in Golden State, when he was helping him with, I think it was, he was an assistant of some clinician thing. I don't know what's going on there, but he was definitely a beside Katie a lot. I don't think that they nailed that. That was his number one choice.
I think that they went to him and said, would you be comfortable if he was your coach? And I think Katie okayed it, but now people are using that to like nail that, you know, him to that. And it's like, there are probably four other coaches, you know what I mean? It's almost like if you really want to go to Red Lobster, but I gave him three other things and made him a pop-eye that she was okay with, I'm not going to be like, well, you wanted to come here.
Nah, like, nah, what? Nah, I was cool. I mean, you know what I mean? That's what Katie's at, kind of in my opinion.
Tracy G with the next Super Chat. Tracy G said, is the white man trying to bring him down because of his success in the final, the first year? Keep an eye on the ball. Keep an eye on the ball.
No. A little like he would keep his eye on something. Man, yo, that, when I saw that, that just came out of nowhere. And I was like, what did he do?
Like, he just got there and they already taken his, this guy that way, you know, the reports are true and I'm pretty sure they are to some degree. You know, he did this himself, but I was stunned. You know, you just never really know how households are. You know, you think somebody got a good and, you know, they were this person or whatever the reports are.
And then you look at this, you're like, man, what's going on? Why would he do that? And, but I don't know, it was interesting because I hope that, to your question, Tracy, that it looked conspiratorial. Like they were trying to take it down after he was able to do what Steve is going to do.
That somehow this thing, because we don't know, they could center to them. We want to get on my conspiracy stuff. They were like, hey, man, why don't you go, you know, dribble this ball in front of a doker for a few minutes. Let's see what happened.
Either way, I'm glad that he'll just be suspended and not let go. And I hope it kind of stays right there. And that'll be it. But with the way that everything went down with Sarver, they may not let him get off the hook like that.
Oh, no, it's official. Yeah, they just spent the entire year. That's all about it's all trying to. Dang.
That's the counter. I didn't know that. Can I just say that I think that this entire situation is just so like, what is, like, what was the reason, like, for any of this to come out? Like, I feel like this should be an in-house conversation.
This seems very inappropriate to me that this even leaked, or this is even a story like, if it was consensual, then why are we talking about two of your in-house employees? That's what I was going to ask y'all. Reports are, well, I saw somewhere I got to look back. See, I'm sorry, reports.
Where did somebody told it? It was like a disgruntled player. Who told it? Was it Jalen Brown?
Hell no. Damn. Well, that's not the case. Hey, bro.
That was not the case. He gave me jail. No, no, no, no. Yo, oh, my man, bro, if that's true, that's a hate-nash shit.
No, no, no, no. Why'd you be doing it? Why'd you be doing it? I'm going to be Dennis Schroeder or something crazy.
You know, he's going back to LA. No. He's a man. Fuck that.
I got my contract. Well, he didn't have some beat. He didn't have some beat. He kind of got into it, right?
Yeah, because he's like, bro, I'm almost scoring. Give me the fucking balls. I'm giving Dennis the tape of the ball. Like, you know what I mean?
He wanted KD. David Brown for KD. Oh, that's where we all go. Mm-hmm.
So Tupac was in the car. He didn't turn. You know what I mean? That's how that shit.
That's what I got started. That's how they get going. That's how they get going. That's unfortunate, man.
So that makes it even worse, man. Like if somebody, you know, went and snitched and told on the brother. How you dicksnitching? Like, come on, bro.
That's crazy, bro. How you going? We have another man's jock like that, man. Come on, man.
That is some first-class play. That's not even that. Like, that's dirty macking, bro. Like, you can't do it.
Really? They said in the chat, it was a VP's wife. Then he even, not. You gotta hold that down.
If the coach fuck your wife, he just gotta hold that down, right? He's like, all right, bro. Mm-hmm. Like, and he took us to the finals.
Really, too. He took us to the finals, man. Like, at that point in Money Anything, right? He was just making my wife like that, bro.
Man, at that point, the first five, right? Right? Right? Right?
They don't give a fuck. Hey, man. Hey, man. Hey, you gotta take that AOQ.
I mean, I mean, people, you talk about what they say. What they say, what they say, Q. It was the central group. It was the game.
There you go, man. It was the game, right? I took that AOQ. He was like, you know what?
You know what, you know what, you know what, Jacqueline? I told you. So I ain't them fucking players when we were around. I told you, keep your eyes up.
Keep your eyes up. And Jacqueline goes, I wasn't looking at the players. I was looking at the coach. I was like, I got the other slave moving up in there.
I was like, I got to get together then, man. That's it. He was in practice with the bandit shows, homie. He got Jacqueline.
He was like, you know what, you know what? He made those mind-goes doors. Like, say, you my pick? Let's roll.
Like, what? Like, what? Hey, man. Man, it's good like that sometimes.
And this is the no way I'm saying. I mean, you set a screen on my wife real quick. Hold up. I'm like, nigga, what?
Like, nigga, what? Nigga, let me set a screen on my wife. That's insane. Nah, yo.
They are definitely using that. It's not by kissing month, but they knew it was getting close. So they had to do something. I don't know.
Some crazy, dude. I'm crazy. He didn't need it. He's a voice man.
Greater have been cheated on. I promise you that. What I cheat on you along? I wouldn't go.
I wouldn't go into any relationship expecting to cheat on anybody. First care. It's not my progress to do that. But, knee along especially is one of the ones that against our eyes, we're trying to say faithful to.
So. But, like I said earlier, no facts. I'm very goshy on them. Twice.
Right. Right. Anybody here? Anybody here?
Anybody here? Danny Jackson, all of them. We don't know what, uh, me like at the house. That's it.
Thank you. Because it's like, you know what I mean? It's just like for a man who don't have, you know, hundreds of millions of dollars to you, a piece of gum is just a piece of gum because it's relatively an income. I'm gonna put a bunch of bins in this shit.
He look at him like, you know, trinkets like, oh, I'm gonna go and store and get a bins. I'm bringing home, get a bunch of them. If a new one come out, he might buy that. And he might view girls that way.
And a lot of men, if you got it like that, relative to what you bring in like that with the women. You know what I mean? Like, it don't matter who you got. You can have a bad as a debate.
If something else is available, there's some dudes who wired that way, man. Corey, Corey, hope I'm saying you live up to your level. Whatever you want is where you live. And that's his world.
That's your email. He lost two rings in one year, bro. Yeah, yeah. He might not have got no rings.
Yeah, he might be, they might make it through the woods. They're gonna go to counseling and work through this thing, man. Prayers up for Neil. He'll be back on that market.
Man, yes, sir. Yes, sir. I bet them deals with school today. Oh, man, you already know.
Him and Doc River is going crazy right now. Hey, Doc River's supposed to leave, man, on the planet this morning. Yeah. Doc had a bunch of lights full of some cheeks.
Like, yeah, all his lights. Football, apparently. Yeah. Yeah.
What happened with Doc? Doc was good with things, bro. Yeah, Doc was, Doc didn't, evidently, in which I, you know, allegedly, Doc didn't understand how Twitter works. He was liking some lewd things.
Yeah, lewd things on Twitter. Some girl. Oh, why not? Yeah.
Yeah, he was, he was wild. Hey, yeah, he got caught on. Like, he must, he must be, it's one of the nights. He's just scrolling too long.
I don't know. Wind up in a weird place. Yeah. I had a hell of that happen.
And Doc woke up the next morning, everybody was like, you a sick fuck. He's like, oh, I forgot to. He tried to delete it, though. He said, oh, shit.
Name's that. I put up statement. I have been hacked the last day. That's the go-to, bro.
Stop going that bullshit, man. Ain't nobody here. First of all, which motherfucker sitting out there like, you know, we need to do that. We need to go get this in the muffler and doc with his password.
Yeah. Like, oh, bunch of porn, bro. This is Simmons. This is Simmons.
That's it. This is Simmons got money. Yo, so Ben got Doc. No, no, this is the Deepood Darker Criminal fucking Link.
Ben Simmons got Doc. And then Jalen Brown got E-Mate. Oh, man. Hey, the plan is going to go down.
Like, I'm like, what do you mean? You got to see it. Yeah, right. And then he said, shuckshot.
Damn, like, you know what I mean? Like, some crazy shit. You know what I mean? Man, it's me.
Can't say, they had bread and shucks. I'm hoping to say, whoop Carolina Sunday. I am with you. I want Jammie Swinston to bounce back and have a good week.
I do. I need to bounce back. It was a pain. It was pain everywhere.
It was pain everywhere. Yeah. I don't know. I'm not a saint fan whatsoever, but I don't like Jammie looking like that.
I don't. He's a nice guy. He's funny. I like him being around him.
He makes football better than me. You know, it's so crazy. Like, seeing, like, people clouding when you're talking about going to eat this W, but it became such a thing. Like, it was, they even put that shit in Madden, bro.
Like, yeah, Jammie and James was alive. Yeah, he is. James was a clown, man. And I mean, that every sense of word.
I would love going to practice and just seeing this dude on the field. I know he'd do some goofy shit when he get out there for a minute. Yeah. Probably some weird stretch of routine.
I'll just be weak the whole time. Like, this is my fucking quarterback, you know? Like, this is, this is the way I have to do the war with these dudes. I wanted him and his girl to get a show.
I saw them on like a little special. I might've been a lot. Yeah, he's got a nice, but he, I listened to him and Mark Ingram. And what's the defensive lineman?
Cam, Cam Jordan, they want to show today. So I listened to him for a little bit of a pretty good thing. So, you know, I like these two athletes, Clark and those three, of course, you know, they were pretty insane in the white. So I said, I was going to check them out more often.
I have a question. Just like, I'm also, you know, random. Who's career would you rather have? Would you, would you really have Andre Johnson's career or would you rather have Chris Johnson's career for running back or, you know what I'm saying?
Tennessee, Houston. Andre, that's a good question. Chris, Chris, no 2K. Yeah, he did.
He did. But the only thing about that though is, Andre was more consistent. Exactly. From day one.
So that, he was the man, day one. Until the last day he was there. Yeah, Chris had a high high and then he was back to, you know, back to Earth after that. And I remember all the talk about the next year, he gonna do all this and that again.
And 2,500 yards and nothing. Like, okay, we got you. They're hearing a lot of love right now too. Man.
Yeah, you know, you keep going down bad. It always happened like that. Man, they run you into the ground. Mm-hmm.
Exactly right. Let me ask you the same question, but for Highs Ward or for Steve Smith, Carolina, Pittsburgh? Steve Smith. I love Steve Smith.
Not cause you scare a lot of us to answer. I love Highs Ward too. They both had great careers. But Steve Smith is definitely going to the Hall of Fame.
And he's, I think that when you look at who they talk about the most, I think they talk about Steve Smith a lot more. Cause he was a monster. I forget. Watching him all, because I watch every, pretty much every game he had.
You forget how great he was. But I'm talking about from the Tommy Tester field. Until he retired, he was even in Baltimore. He played wheel.
Now, how do you do that though? You think he going to the Hall of Fame? I think, yes. Yeah.
I think so. Yeah. Yeah. Here's the thing, I give you, I think Steve Smith was a better wide receiver.
Right? Like, you know, we talk in dynamic, explosive, hands, strongest health. But Highs was, He's so mean with that. Like he embodied with this.
He's, he embodied. You know what I'm saying? Um, what the Steelers were, and he got a chip. And he was a contributing factor to that chip.
And when we think of the toughest wide receivers, like high, there's no for his blocking. That's how many, how many wide receivers do you say that? Oh, Steve was too. He was a monster.
Steve was. He was. He was. He was, he was physical.
He was a football player. I'm trying to see, I'm trying to look up their stats, comparisons too, just to see like where they were. I was, I was going to say him. I was looking right here.
I'm going to hold up. Yes. He's with his eighth on, on the all-time receiver list. List, um, Highs, what is, uh, where?
I don't think he'll be that high. You haven't caught a bad thriller. No, he didn't. Highs were the 27th.
So I was like, he was disparity there. So, so, to me, Highs, where is my first ballot? But he's definitely a Hall of Famer. Steve Smith is questionable for his ballot.
Cause I don't see a point for people. I feel like Highs was really the type of guy that just made it okay in the modern era to be really unapologetically nasty as a wide receiver. Like you didn't have to be super technical. You didn't have to be, you know, super athletically gifted.
Bo Hein's word was good. He rang a rose enough and he was just so, just ferocious, man. Like dude, his way he was blocked. Dude had a, you know, 10 plus year career to do that, you know, so.
I'll probably go on his word too. I just knew that Steve Smith was always going to be a threat. And like, their touchdowns are almost the same. Identical.
I don't know. I just love Steve. He was just that guy. And he was a nasty dude.
Like he was a nasty tough son of a gun to be that small. I got another one for y'all. Who do you think would be? Which player from the past would be better in today's game?
More impactful? Reggie Bush or Ryan Westbrook? Mmm, Reggie. You think so?
Man, I think Reggie. I think Reggie was ahead of this time, bro. Like we, you know, he got a ring, right? But he never was right after that hit from the Eagles.
But yeah, man, I don't think he's really going to use him. Like can you imagine? Like it's almost like what Camari is and what McCaffrey was. Are today.
You know, I think they really tried to make him a traditional running back. And he just that just wasn't his thing. I think Brian Westbrook, he would he would he would he would sell. But I think he was a selling back then too.
I think he had sell more than Reggie did. Yeah, he did. He was more consistent. Reggie's injuries, like you said, took control of him more than anything else.
But he just had so many moments though, where he was like, damn, Brad, this dude could just be healthy for like 10 games a year. It'd be perfect. Yeah. Right.
It was it was seven games a year. He would give us seven games. Like three of them would be incredible. Two, three of those games would be like, what the hell did he do that?
110 yards, 180 yards, all purpose. And then it's like the next game, you know, he'll have like 70 yards, already nice 45 yards in that game. I mean, then he's hurt. But you for four more weeks, you know, you know what?
Too cute. And to Ken's point on a lot of players, what team he ended up on would have been would have been magical too. Imagine him with Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City. You know what I'm saying?
Imagine him in Kaushina. You know what I mean? He'd be most of 4.0, you know what I mean? Be in D-Bo without all the physicality as well.
You know what I mean? Just getting out of his face. I mean, imagine him in Tyree Hill, like dude, be fucking, you know, he was on that. He was on the D-Offers.
When he was good for them then, you know, so I felt like, when he grabbed about a line though, he was dosed up to about the Saints. Saints and then he went to- We went to the line. Who was that line's last year in his career? Yeah, 2013-2014.
And he was solid. Yeah, but he had games then. It was just like dude, he was just- Yeah, he had a thousand yards rushing in his first year of the line. Yep.
Dude, you only had two yards rushing in his whole career. And that was in Miami, his first year in Miami, and his first year in Detroit. I remember that team. Who didn't they have another running back when he got drafted by the plate?
Ronnie or- Because he was like the change of pace back wasn't he? Was it Ronnie Brown? Or was it Ricky Williams? My girl was gone by that.
He was his office. He was among the lead, but he was chilling by that. Let me see. I can't remember who the back was.
When he got there, he wasn't the main back, I don't think. I can't remember. If Trapisti can do this against just teams that he has no business doing this against, they obviously don't look out of the playoffs, but the defense got to win them some games. He's got to get one or two of those like no business type of games.
Yeah, I mean, it was the last two minutes of things kind of, the damn sea parts when that shit happens. Nobody really got in anybody. But yeah, I mean- He's a game. Mm-hmm.
And what's the name? What's the name? Bresett? You got to get a little drive going as well, so.
Deuce McAllister. Ah, yeah. I remember Deuce. Deuce from Mississippi.
That's when he was running back was when he had it. I knew he wasn't the- And he got less carried than Deuce. His first year in the league. I can remember who's starting back was.
Yeah, I remember- Deuce was that guy. So Deuce was like the work horse, but they couldn't figure out how to use it in the world. And that's what it was. And that was also the year that Mario Williams was drafted first.
