To Be or Not to Be: Being Faithful to Life or to Worldly Success

“To be or not to be,” is that the question? I think so. We have the option of being faithful to life - the life of love and compassion in ourselves, in others, and in nature - or we can start to betray that life in all things as we’re seduced by our worldly selfishness and our affection for domination and hurtfulness. The second orientation doesn’t even serve us, but oh does it seem to feel so good! It’s that drive that motivates us to external, worldly success over internal and earthly health. However, being faithful to ourselves, God(dess), and the world around us by being present as we uplift health, compassion, and love in all things can feel even better.
