To Fear God is to Know and Do God's Will

The longer I live the more I become convinced that those who do not fear the Lord nor obey God's will are targeted by the devil!  If Jesus, does not have first place in in our heart, mind, and soul and we do not yield ourselves to the authority of His word then we will fall for Satan's counterfeit perversions of the truth!  Our knowledge and wisdom must reflect the truth, the substantive reality of God's will for our lives in every thought, word, deed, and relationship.   The most important relationship in the LORD is marriage!  Satan has targeted this relationship from the very beginning to draw humans away from the truth to follow his perversion of the "one flesh" relationship of marriage which is to be a perfect reflection of the one flesh relationship between Christ and His bride, the Church!  Satan's scheme of counterfeit and perversion has destroyed the honor, purity, and sanctity of this powerful relationship that can and does reflect the great love and respect in marriage that God so desires the world to see manifest in His people!  Let us learn to fear the LORD in all things but most importantly in knowing and yielding to His will in the marriage relationship so that our marriages, families, and individuals will manifest the great love of God for mankind!  My sermon is titled, "The Fear of God is to Know and Do God's Will!"  The first of two points will be focused on God's pattern for the marriage relationship between husband and wife and how this can and must reflect His relationship between Christ and His bride, church.  Second, we will discover how we are to manifest God's "one flesh" covenant love by keeping the marriage bed in honor and purity.
