To Fear the LORD is the Beginning of Knowledge and Wisdom

This morning we will finish the sermon is titled “The Fear of the LORD is the Beginning of Knowledge and Wisdom”  We are examining the Scripture from Proverbs 1:7 and 9:10.  Last week we discovered that the starting point for all real truth, knowledge, and wisdom is the reverential fear of the LORD, the only true Sovereign, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent!   So, this week we will quickly review what the fear of the LORD means and what the Scriptures teach regarding the truth statement that "The beginning of knowledge is the reverential fear of the LORD."  The closing point, which we didn't get to last week will be to describe what the beginning of wisdom is the reverential fear of the LORD means.  I have included once again the sermon note sheets and the two handouts with important quotes by two awesome scientists who changed the world with their discoveries of God's Creation!
