To Find One’s Voice – Jill in conversation with Martha Gelnaw
from Lady Time · host Carole Fitzpatrick
Martha grew up in New Jersey in a suburb of New York City, the eldest of six girls in a Catholic family. For many years she says she was a talker but not a communicator – anxiety made her talk a lot .... ‘children should be seen and not heard’ is something she heard very often growing up in her household. And whilst she was an exuberant, energetic and life loving individual, life experience began to chip away at her edges until at one point, when her children were still very young, she literally lost her voice. She takes us through the journey of how she found her voice again around about midlife and how in turn she now helps others find theirs again too. ....... Martha works with individuals as well as groups and you can contact her at the following: www.presence-impact.com Email: [email protected] ........ LADY TIME would love your feedback, let us know what you like, what you don't, what you'd like to hear more of or if you have an experience in relation to midlife that you'd like to share with us – you can email us confidentially at [email protected] ........
