Jen and Dan read chapter 25 of To Kill a Mockingbird. As Scout mulls over bug ethics and the town expresses an empathy level comparable to a dried-up gourd, Dan and Jen introduce the only sensible response to such times: the 'Tequila Mockingbird', a cocktail designed to lubricate the gears of justice, but, ultimately ends up being a tasty alternative to a classic margarita. Recipe below: Banned Camp's Tequila Mockingbird Ingredients: 2 ounces tequila 1 ounce fresh lime juice 1 ounce orange juice 1/2 ounce agave syrup (or simple syrup) 1/2 ounce herbal liqueur (such as Chartreuse or St-Germain.  Dan used Triple-Sec) Lime wheel or orange twist, for garnish Instructions: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, lime juice, orange juice, agave syrup, and herbal liqueur to the shaker. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill the drink and blend the flavors. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass or a glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel or an orange twist. Serve and enjoy your Tequila Mockingbird.
