To Share in the Suffering

This is the week. Room the crowds and applause of Palm Sunday, to the tragedy of Good Friday. The crowds dissipated, and many of those who were singing praises, were questioning everything they believed by Saturday. It’s one thing to sing with the crowds, but another thing to stand in the silence and believe in the darkness. We are experiencing a time of suffering. It may cause some to question the goodness of God, or his power, or his promises, or even if He is even there. But there is a lesson in this week, before the victories and the glories of an Easter dawn there is the loneliness in the Garden, the agony on Mt. Calvary, and the feeling of being forsaken by God.
