To the Ends of the Earth - Part 1: The Missionary Journey of St. Mark

Fr. Paul begins the series “To the Ends of the Earth” by reflecting on the life and mission of St. Mark the Evangelist, the founder of the Coptic Orthodox Church. St. Mark was not sent with money, armies, or political power. He went with Christ. From one ordinary moment with Anianus the shoemaker, the Gospel took root in Egypt and gave birth to a Church that has endured for nearly 2,000 years through theology, monasticism, martyrdom, and faithful witness.
