Acts 10:1-8. This sermon was preached October 11, 2020 by Pastor David Tarkington. Pastor David shares about our town's history regarding race relations and the first interracial school in the town (and state) that existed until pressure from the state and community shut it down in 1917. What does that have to do with Acts 10? Peter is soon to meet Cornelius - the first Gentile who will become part of the church. This was huge and not something Peter was seeking...but God is no respecter of persons. This is an incredible account of God's grace, his plan, and his sovereignty over his church.
