Can you hear me? Sure thing! How do you feel connected to yourself, when you have no one around you to mirror your understanding of culture? How do you find belonging in an ever changing cultural atlas? We both grew up culturally secure. Solid monoculture. Certainty of belonging, so we try to understand the perspectives of those who didn’t, because possibly, our children will enter that world.
