In 2001 Daft Punk awakened Toby's love for electronic music: Daft Punk hits like "One More Time", "Aerodynamic" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" were shown on MTV. These fast beats and deep basslines impressed him deeply. This initial spark set the course, the club scene soon became his second home and made him want to produce electronic music himself.
