In February 2006, during Mardi Gras weekend in New Orleans, 29-year-old Toby Beaugh was killed in a deliberate hit-and-run while walking home with his wife. Witnesses say a black pickup truck stopped, waited, and then accelerated into Toby before fleeing the scene.Despite multiple eyewitnesses, the driver was never identified.
