In einer eisigen Winternacht im Januar 2025 klettert Kerstin G. am Großglockner Richtung Gipfel, gemeinsam mit ihrem Freund Thomas P. Jetzt muss ein Gericht klären, warum Kerstin G. am Berg erfror. In dieser Mini-Serie von »Inside Austria« geht es um einen Todesfall im Gebirge, der Alpinistinnen und Alpinisten weit über Österreich hinaus beschäftigt. In der zweiten Folge rekonstruieren wir die entscheidenden Momente dieser Nacht am Großglockner, die mit dem Tod von Kerstin G. endeten. Wir wollen verstehen: Wie kann es sein, dass eine junge Frau auf einer Bergtour erfriert, während ihr Partner es zurück ins Tal schafft? Und wie könnten solche Unglücke verhindert werden? Außerdem ist der Alpinist und YouTuber Adrian Fusco zu Gast. Er bestieg den Berg erst vor wenigen Monaten über die Route, die auch Kerstin G. und ihr Freund nahmen.
