Tod Browning’s Freaks: The Movie That Horrified Hollywood

In 1932, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer released Tod Browning’s Freaks, a pre-Code Hollywood film that used real circus and sideshow performers in a story of marriage, humiliation, poisoning, revenge, and belonging.
