Today in 1968, Eric Clapton and Neil Young were arrested at a home in Los Angeles and charged with "being in a place where it is suspected marijuana is being used." Clapton was later found innocent of the misdemeanor charge. Neil Young paid a small fine. In 1969, John Lennon married Yoko Ono in Gibraltar.
