Today in 1836, an army of white Texans led by Sam Houston defeated the Mexicans at San Jacinto, assuring Texas independence! In 2016, Prince died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl. He was 57. AND in 2018, Verne Troyer died of alcohol poisoning. The coroner ruled it a suicide. He was 49. RIP
