Today it will be 40 years since South African anti-apartheid struggle stalwart Steve Biko died. A full calendar of events has been planned at various venues throughout the country this month to celebrate the legacy of Biko. King Williams Town in the Eastern Cape Province hosted a sporting event in his name much to the delight of scholars from the area. Over 30 schools took part. The Steve Biko Foundation believes sport is one of the best tools to encourage unity. Yanga Funani has more.
