The New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) gets underway March 23 and 24 during media days at the Jacob Javits Center. Marking the show’s 116th anniversary, more than 1,000 vehicles and new technologies will be on display. Brand new debuts, sneak peeks, concept vehicles, along with interactive exhibits featuring simulators and ride along courses, will be available to the public March 25 through April 3 in New York City. Momentum at Chevrolet is gaining speed: In 2015, the brand celebrated its best retail sales in nearly a decade and debuted five all-new cars; in the first month of 2016, Now Chevrolet is focusing on its performance line-up! Revealed in Chicago last month, the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE brings additional performance capabilities to the all-new, sixth-generation Camaro. Now, the 2017 Camaro ZL1 is poised to challenge the most advanced sports coupes in the world in any measure – with unprecedented levels of technology, refinement, track capability and straight-line acceleration. Acceleration for the ZL1 is delivered with a new supercharged 6.2L V-8 engine estimated at 640 hp (477 kW), and either asix-speed manual transmission with active rev matching or an all-new 10-speed automatic. The Camaro ZL1 goes on sale later this year. The Chevrolet brand is in the midst of a significant product and business transformation in the U.S. and around the globe. Every one of the brand’s new products will offer consumers expressive designs, world-class safety and performance, and advanced technologies such as Teen Driver, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which will be available in 14 new Chevrolet models.
