Together For God's Glory- Romans 15:1-7

In this sermon Pastor Keith explains how each one of us are created for community and called to live in harmony together for the glory of God. The Apostle Paul calls the church to help one another, bear with one another, be unified with one another and be welcoming to one another for the glory of God. There are dangers in being isolated, some of which are: Drifting Spiritually Deception - James Discouragement Despair Loneliness Vanity Vulnerability While, there are dangers to isolation there are also great benefits to being connected to living community within the Body of Christ, and some of those are: Affirmation Accountability Assurance Advance Awakening Accentuated Joy David Mathis wrote in his book Habits of Grace, "The secret to joy in corporate worship is not only self-forgetfulness, preoccupation with Jesus and his glory—but also happy awareness that we are not alone in having our souls satisfied in him."
