Togetherness

Today's message is a continuation of Saturday's when we reflected on the need to fellowship with others also wanting to familiarise themselves with God's Word. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, we read that, " All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work". We are all gifted by the Holy Spirit of God to help each other with Scripture: teachers, those who prophesy by speaking God's Words in to people lives, those who write worship music etc. Let's not isolate ourselves from others in God's Kingdom. We can all help each other and here is a reminder of Nehemiah 8:10, to apply every day, "...for this day is holy unto our LORD, neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength". We are to be genuinely repentant of wrongdoings but then we can move on in joyful strength.
