Token

Tokens are things that mean nothing until they turn out to mean everything. So in this episode, we've got three stories about how ordinary words, objects and even a pebble, transformed into something magical. Featuring stories from Story Slamers John Rowley, Maree Cullinan and Nuala O'Connor, recorded live onstage at The Sugar Club. As well as inspiring his students, John Rowley can occasionally be heard spinning hits from the ’70s and ’80s on Ireland’s Wave Radio (waveradio.ie). Maree Cullinan is a wonderful Storyteller who splits her time between living in Melbourne and North Western Australia. You can watch back here another of her stories told with the excellent @BarefacedStories(insta) Keep an eye on The Moth Australia too for a possible appearance after Maree performed at their recent GrandSlam. Nuala O'Connor is a wellness coach and author who you can find over on her YouTube Channel or onstage on October 25th at The Dublin Story GrandSlam 2026 For updates on our next storyslam - visit www.thedublinstoryslam.com Hosted on Acast.
