Toledoans for Prison Awareness is excited to announce that we will be hosting Kirstin Eidenbach of the ATLaS Justice Center (Arizona) on Sunday, February 10th at 2 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church.Kirstin will present her groundbreaking look at the impact of long-term incarceration in inmates and how it affects the success of reentry upon release. She will give insight on ways to improve outcomes to benefit all of us.Jim Prager of Toledoans for Prison Awareness will also speak on how the same issues affect the staff employed in our prisons, creating higher incidents of substance abuse, domestic violence, and suicide. There will be a question and answer session to follow. THIS IS A FREE EVENT AND OPEN TO ALL! Light refreshments will be provided. For all who are interested, TPA will be holding its monthly meeting immediately following the Q&A.
