Tom feels the "Riddim" with TESREFLECT

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to another episode of The Open Mic Podcast! With your host Tom Hirst, brought to you by Richland Source and Newsroom After Hours! This weeks episode we get an in depth look into the rapidly growing music scene/culture of EDM/DUB step music. Our guest Tesreflect, not only produces his own songs, but also performs them out live as a DJ. It was a massive pleasure having him on the show, not only for his vibrant song writing ability, but his extensive understanding of where this genre of music has stemmed from historically.  This episode was immensely refreshing to me. Talking to people about music can bring out an excitement from within that you don't usually see on the surface level in typical interactions. Tesreflect to me, genuinely is passionate about this genre of music, and I really feel it translates in this interview. The rich history and culture in this realm of music is one of welcoming hearts and open mindedness towards anyone that wants to just enjoy the euphoria of body thumping bass and upbeat head bobbing positivity. The culture is exploding and I look forward to hopefully seeing more of these kinds of shows in the future! Tereflect also gave us our first live performance since I have taken over as host.
