Tom Hayes, Executive VP & CIO for "Insight For Living with Chuck Swindoll (heard weekdays at 630am & 7pm), hops on the show for a chat about IFL's 44th anniversary this month. On a related note, IFL was one of WFIL's inaugural programs (November '93) when Salem (WFIL's parent company) purchased the station. Speaking of Salem, its Director of Government Affairs--Nic Anderson (who also serves as GM for four stations in the Twin Cities)--spends a good chunk of time on the show as well. He discusses the value of AM radio and the importance of protecting it moving forward, including regarding certain auto manufacturers potentially not including AM radio it their cars. The program concludes with "Keep The Son In Your Eyes," a special song written by Toby DeMoss (and performed with Tim DeMoss Jr, Tessa DeMoss and Theodora DeMoss) at the memorial service for Tim's father Robert, who went to be with the Lord at age 95 in March 2023.
