Tom Leyden gives an overview of the Westwood Living Lessons From Leaders Series, a new initiative aimed at inspiring future leaders at Westwood High School. The Lessons From Leaders Series will be hosted at Westwood High Schol over the course of three weeks in October, 2023 (different night of the week each week), with 10% of every sponsorship donated to the Westwood Community Scholarship Fund. Up to 40 participating leaders in business will be available at individual tables each night to offer advice and answer questions for students. At each session, a keynote speaker will deliver a 7-10 minute educational and motivational address focused on a topic pertinent to high school students. Every participating leader will be showcased in the Lessons From Leaders Online Directory, with information useful to high school students interested in learning more about their profession Full biography and background of each Leader Sponsor Classes relevant to profession Internships relevant to profession Suggested reading material Educational Video providing an overview of the industry and words of guidance Professional opportunities available – Internships, Shadowing Opportunities, Jobs Every participating leader will be showcased in the Lessons From Leaders Print Directory, distributed to students who attend the in-person Lessons From Leaders sessions, with contact information included for students interested in reaching out for more information. In addition to the satisfaction of knowing you're investing in future leaders, every participating leader will receive the following benefits: A table at a Lessons from Leaders session, with signage featuring your company's logo Invitation to appear on the Westwood Living Podcast Network to talk about your profession, promote your business and offer advice to students Acknowledgement in the November issue of Westwood Living magazine Full access to professional photos taken at the Lessons From Leaders session for use promotionally in printed materials, on social media or your website
