Tom Ross Earthling and AI Initiatives

On Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 1 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time, watch this stream of campaign videos and discussion by Tom Ross, the U.S. Transhumanist Party’s 2024 U.S. Presidential Candidate, on his Earthling and Artisanal Intelligence Initiatives – two of the three major initiatives of his campaign. These discussions were originally hosted on August 8 and 15, 2023, by Dr. Sharif Uddin Ahmed Rana of the World Talent Economy Forum, the U.S. Transhumanist Party’s Director of Foreign Relations and Foreign Ambassador in Bangladesh. For the discussion of the Artisanal Initiative, Tom Ross was joined by guests futurist and intelligence expert David Smith and financier and business leader Shakeel Latimer. The Earthling Initiative is designed to prepare Americans for the Technological Singularity, Economic Singularity, and job displacement caused by AI and automation. Emphasizing community collaboration and leveraging online platforms, the Earthling Initiative envisions a future where AI empowers individuals. It outlines six critical areas of focus, along with proposed guidelines and practical measures, to ensure the ethical and safe integration of AI into society. By fostering collaboration among government, academia, and industry, this initiative seeks to harness the transformative potential of AI while addressing associated challenges. The AI Initiative outlines specific practical measures to achieve its objectives. The components of the AI Initiative include: (1) AI Rights, (2) Anti-Planetary Exploitation (APEx), (3) Digital Defense, (4) AI Tutors, (5) Dark Money Audits, and (6) We the Avatars (research into the Simulation Hypothesis).
