Nyolcvan éve szabadult fel a budapesti gettó, ahol 1944. december 10-től 1945. január 18-ig élt összezsúfolva mintegy 70 ezer zsidó származású magyar állampolgár. A gettóra emlékezve pályázatot írt ki Erzsébetváros önkormányzata, amelyet a Hetedik Műterem alkotói csapata formabontó tervvel nyert meg.
