Tommy Vext: Faith, Recovery, Reinvention & Building With A Vengeance | Let 'R Rip Podcast

SEASON 2 STARTS HERE. Tommy Vext has lived more lives than most people will experience in a lifetime. From the underground New York hardcore scene to platinum records, global tours, addiction, homelessness, near-death experiences, recovery, public scrutiny, rebuilding from the ground up, and now launching With A Vengeance, Tommy joins us for one of the most honest conversations we’ve ever had on the Let 'R Rip Podcast. This isn’t an interview built around headlines. This is a conversation about what happens after life breaks you. We dive deep into the moments that shaped Tommy, not only as a musician, but as a man. He shares stories about growing up in New York, earning his place in hardcore, Divine Heresy, Snot, Westfield Massacre, filling in for Five Finger Death Punch, the worldwide success of Bad Wolves, writing music that reached millions, and why none of those accomplishments ultimately defined him. Instead, this episode explores something much bigger. Faith. Purpose. Recovery. Brotherhood. Leadership. Responsibility. The cost of conviction. And why becoming the man you’re meant to become is worth every setback you’ll ever endure. Throughout this conversation Tommy opens up about: • Growing up in the New York hardcore scene • Getting sober and rebuilding his life • His near-death experience that changed everything • Losing everything and starting over • Building With A Vengeance • The responsibility of leadership • Creating from purpose instead of ego • Brotherhood and loyalty • The music industry • Entrepreneurship • Living with conviction • Faith • Personal accountability • What success actually means One moment stood above everything else. “Nothing happened to me. It happened for me.” That single sentence perfectly summarizes this entire episode. If you’re an entrepreneur… If you’re a musician… If you’re rebuilding your life… If you’ve ever questioned your purpose… This conversation is for you. 👇 If something in this episode resonates with you, leave a comment and let us know your biggest takeaway.
