Tone Up Thursday: Intermittent Fasting and Weight Loss

from Today’s Gut Health Tip · host Melissa Hall Klepacki, M.Ac.

Tone Up Thursday's reminder that it really comes down to diet. If you have excess body fat I encourage you to check out Intermittent Fasting.  For 16 hours a day you are fasting, nothing but water.  You have an 8 hour window to take in calories.  For me, eating between the hours of 11 am and 7 pm.  Or late breakfast, early dinner and done.  Those 16 hours of fasting encourages your body to run on the stored body fat you have. Another option that can help you shed excess weight is to only eat fruit until noon.  Stick with watery fruits such as berries, melons and citrus. **gentle reminder, please check in with your doctor before making any radical changes to your health and wellness.
