Tonka Toys
from Tear It Apart Hosted by Donny Mack
Tonka began its journey back in 1947 in Mound, Minnesota. It was originally a small company called Mound Metalcraft, which was producing metal parts for various industrial uses. The name "Tonka" itself comes from a Sioux word meaning "big" or "great," and fittingly, they aimed to make their toys just that.
