Tony Alamo Sermon 765A The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11, Zechariah's Golden Candlesticks, and Letters From Kenya and Nigeria Tony Alamo continues his verse-by-verse teaching on the Book of Revelation's two witnesses, ties it to Zechariah's vision of golden candlesticks and olive trees, recounts a personal vision naming him and his late wife Susie as those witnesses, and closes the hour with listener letters from Kenya and Nigeria and a call to salvation. He describes the golden candlestick with its bowl, seven lamps, and seven pipes, and the two olive trees standing on either side feeding it oil, explaining these as the two anointed ones who empty out what heaven has poured into them. He weaves in a personal memory from his early days as a young Christian, recalling how he doubted a sense that God wanted him to marry his future wife because he felt she understood the Bible far better than he did, and how he experienced what he calls golden pipes carrying his questions up and God's answers rushing back, leaving him quickly confident despite his inexperience. He applies Zerubbabel's mountain being made a plain to human pride and governments. Tyra Sinclair's Vision of the Two Witnesses Alamo then recounts a personal testimony he says confirms the prophecy. On a Christmas Day years ago, a woman named Tyra Sinclair, who he says had earlier seen a vision of hell, called his home in tears, confessing jealousy over seeing him and his wife Susie happily buying gifts downtown. She then described her own vision: a golden altar appearing in her apartment with Tony standing on one side, robed in gold, and Susie on the other, while a voice told her these were his two witnesses and called her a babbling fool for doubting. Alamo says another person separately saw a vision of Susie standing behind him with her hands on his shoulders, asking whether he knew this was Enoch, tying the prophecy to the biblical figure who must return before dying. He recalls Susie telling him before her death that she would be gone for a long time before God raised her again, and describes testing the vision by asking clouds overhead to vanish, which he says they immediately did. Enemies Struck Down and Susie's Death Returning to Revelation chapter eleven, Alamo reads that fire proceeds from the witnesses' mouths to devour their enemies, which he interprets as the fiery Word of God rather than literal flame, and states that anyone who tries to harm the two witnesses will be killed. He offers two examples he presents as fulfillment: a man named Metters, who ran a motel in Alma, Arkansas, and circulated what Alamo calls false articles about him, later developed cancer in his eyes, mirroring troubles Alamo says he and Susie were facing at the time. He also describes a judge who ordered that Susie, then comatose, be brought from Oral Roberts Hospital in Tulsa into a courtroom to testify, a plan blocked when Dr. Hogue warned she would not survive the night; Susie died on April the eighth, 1982. Alamo says he later called the judge, who had since developed cancer, offering help, and states that the judge died soon after, presenting both illnesses as direct consequences of opposing the ministry, a claim offered as his own interpretation rather than established fact. Letters From Kenya and Nigeria With time running short, Alamo closes his reading in Revelation and turns to listener mail, which Sharon Alamo reads aloud. The first letter comes from Pastor H. Hakoni in Eldoret, Kenya, who describes running the Gamango Rehabilitation Center, a program for street boys battling addiction, where Alamo's booklet Dry Bones has helped deliver young people from what the letter calls various yokes of bondage. The pastor writes that the center currently houses twenty-eight young men being trained in trades such as tailoring, carpentry, sculpting, and painting, but that the program is relying on a single worn Gideons Bible and urgently needs more copies to continue its work. A second, shorter letter comes from a listener named Sola in Ondo State, Nigeria, who writes that hearing Alamo's broadcast on Radio Africa helped bring about his conversion and asks for a Bible along with additional literature. Alamo responds to both by turning listeners' attention toward salvation, framing acceptance of God as the choice every person ultimately makes for themselves. Salvation Prayer and Closing Song Alamo leads listeners through a spoken salvation prayer, inviting them to confess belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, ask forgiveness for past sins, and invite Christ into their hearts, then tells anyone who has prayed along to raise their hands in thanks because their souls are now saved.
