He then started his own shop Callas Rennsport, which is well known for working on rare cars like the 959 and (1967) 911R. He has earned a Bosch Master Technicians degree.He has also been very successful in racing. His racing teams have won the 24 hours of Daytona with the Porsche GT1 and Le Mans. He was the Le Mans ACO mechanic of the year in 2001. Tony has been on many elite racing teams like Rohr, Roock Racing, Seikel Motor-Sport, Champion Racing and Petersen White Racing. He has started his own racing teams Reiser-Callas and now Carrus Callas.
