Tony Dale discusses the MAHA health movement, cultural shift, and politics.
from Straight Talk With Bill Frady
Filling in for Bill Frady on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026, Tony Dale opened his segment by sharing listener text messages regarding society's current state and truck driving regulations. Transitioning to a positive topic, he highlighted a growing populist movement that transcends traditional partisan divides, pointing to pushback against flock cameras, surveillance, and data centers. Drawing on his long-standing personal commitment to health and natural wellness, Dale expressed enthusiasm for the "Make America Healthy Again" (MAHA) movement led by Robert Kennedy, framing it not merely as a wellness trend, but as a broader political, spiritual, and cultural shift. He argued that the COVID-19 pandemic served as a pivotal moment that caused millions of Americans to question institutional authority, big pharma, and corporate power. Concluding his segment, Dale urged the majority of everyday citizens to reject intimidation from woke culture, speak out, and focus on holistic well-being.

"Welcome back, and I would—let me get a couple of texts out of the way here before I start rabbiting on. Here's one that I think is pretty spot-on: 'Our current society puts one in mind of the final days of Sodom and Gomorrah.' Wow, there's no arguing with that. And here's another, this interesting point: 'The truck driver peoples started way back when Jimmy Carter deregulated the trucking industry in 1979, so that doesn't come as a surprise. Up until Joe Biden, the absolute stupidest, most boneheaded president we'd ever had, and then Biden came along. Who could top that?' I shudder to think. Ask the people on the left, they'll try to get him elected. They did, didn't they? Wasn't that Kamala Harris, I believe? Yeah, yeah. Okay, I'm going to talk about something—something positive. I know this is—a lot of this is a bit daunting, isn't it, when we talk about current events? You know what I call this when I'm doing show prep now? I call this the 'outrage du jour.' That's kind of what—when you read the news today. But at any rate, um, but I—I am seeing some signs, pardon me, that are encouraging. There is a—a movement underway that supersedes right and left, and you see it beginning to happen in what's the pushback against the flock cameras and surveillance. There's—both sides are not happy with that. You could talk about what's going on with the data centers. Now, that's a subject that's a complicated subject, because yes, we need to be involved in creating AI and beating China. That's—that's a truth. But we have an enormous amount of pushback. So—so, those are two examples of this, like, what would you call it, the new populist coalition? But there's another one, and I'm going to preface this thought with a little history only because it—it—it applies here. You know, I'll be 79 on the 10th, and I started eating health food and doing, you know, physical—taking care of myself physically as a result of nearly dying from amoebic dysentery. I had—somebody turned me on to, 'Hey, man, if you just quit eating this junky food and started eating this stuff, you wouldn't be sick all the time.' Okay. So I—I really got into it. I mean, back in the—I'm talking late '60s here—and actually went to a missionary school in Guatemala and studied at a school of natural healing. So I—I've been doing this stuff for a long time. Which is why I was so heartened when the MAHA movement started: Make America Healthy Again. So, Robert Kennedy and this entire movement that's underway, and just in the short amount of time he's been in there, it's been stunning. I mean, we're taking dyes out of food, and a lot of good stuff. But I think this represents something much larger than just health, because this is really, if you think about this, this is a political movement. It's a functional, foundational change, really, in our culture that has to do with our consciousness and our common sense. And let me tell you this, you know, I work in financial services, but I've always—I tell clients for years, my definition of wealth is relationships with God and people you care about, the time you have—believe me, at nearly 79, it becomes a lot more precious—and your health. That's kind of the three-legged stool of wealth, because everything you own, everything including your own physical body, is future dust. We're all going to be somewhere eternally. I'm praying you're going to be hanging with me in heaven when that day comes. And if not, that's a conversation we can have. But anyway, so all of a sudden, you're seeing this change that's affecting this entire generation. And it started, in large part, as a result of the unbelievable push of the COVID experience. People went through this, and it has been truly a genuine historical and paradigmatic shift, because we have seen with our own eyes that we have been lied to about science, and the more we are being exposed to truth—and this is part of the equation—people have taken it upon themselves now to self-educa ...
