Too busy to check in but not too busy to ask for help

Imagine this: You always check in on a friend—sending texts, making calls, asking how they’re doing. But they rarely, if ever, return the favor. Then, out of nowhere, they hit you up… not to see how you’re doing, but because they need something. When you ask why they never check in, they say, "I've been busy."
