TOO LATE? Too late to say I’m sorry too late to change the tale. The pain of your departure, the sorrow that prevails. I’ve got to find an answer. I’ve got to save the show. I’ve got to try to show you, the story as it grows.. I still cannot begin to conceive, your mad decision, to just leave; your leap of faith, your lapse of trust, and then our sad untimely end. (Instrumental break) …and the dream…. THE DREAM SEQUENCE Rising on a hill, in a meadow, the golden maiden, rides on in the sun. In her world there is no shadow, in her story filled with fun. Is this reason or reaction, to the truth that’s just begun? Oh I pray that it is real now, so I’ll know that she’s at peace. Sunlight at the end of the rainbow, the madness gives a way released. In her world there is no sadness, in a tale that’s filled with love. My reaction: senses reeling, as the light comes from above, the sky! AFTERMATH So now I know the answer. So now I know its’ true. She was a fragile dancer, like crystal glass and youth. Its’ not because she want to ‘away’, I see, and so her soul was willing the dream has set me free.
