Too Lit Tuesdays: LIVE on Endie Fiya with Recording Artist ~ Linda Washington

Our guest this evening is recording artist, Linda Washington. She is a breast cancer survivor and a survivor of domestic violence. When Linda was ready to date again after surviving breast cancer, she was physically, mentally, and verbally abused. Linda recalls being told that she needed to get used to being treated that way, because she wasn't a real woman anymore. Hearing this hurt her spirit. So much so that she stopped dating for ten years, even pushing away from the one person that saw her and not her scars or cancer. Linda says that she let fear take over and lost her one true love. Linda wrote her song, "Take Me I'm Yours"  to help other survivors not to give up on a love. She wants them to know that they are beautiful inside and out, and not to let anyone tell them differently.
