Too Young to Grieve: Why I Started This Podcast
from Too Young to Grieve · host Luke Alfano
In my final year of university, at just 21, I lost my dad. At the time I felt completely alone in my grief. My friends were finishing degrees, starting jobs, living life — and I was trying to figure out how to keep going without the person who was meant to guide me through it all.Back then, I turned to podcasts every single day just to survive, but I quickly realised there wasn’t really a space for young people navigating grief. That’s why I created Too Young to Grieve — a podcast for young people facing loss far earlier than expected. Each week, I’ll be sharing honest reflections, conversations with others who’ve been through it, and expert insights to help us understand what grief really does to us.This first episode is about my story, why I started the show, and what you can expect moving forward.👉 Follow the podcast and connect with me on Instagram: @tooyoungtogrieve @lukealfanofitness
