On April 11th, TCU guard Tanner Toulson just dropped big news on social media. He's coming back for one more season with the Horned Frogs. The 6'5 redshirt junior from Vancouver, Washington, put up 7.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game last year, shooting 37% from the field. He brings a winding pass to Fort Worth, starting with a short stint at BYU, where he saw just six games, then lighting it up with 65 starts, over two seasons at Utah Valley, before landing at TCU.
Toulson's return bolsters a squad that went 23-12, making it to the second round of the NCAA tournament. He logged 35 games, and one start to help get them there. Now he's the fourth guy locked in for next year's roster, teaming up with junior guard Brock Harding, sophomore forward Micah Robinson, and junior forward Xavier Edmonds. With these pieces falling into place, TCU's building momentum early.
Keep an eye on how they round out the squad this offseason.
