Dig a bit deeper though, and incredible wealth of knowledge is displayed on screen depicting various forms of mental disorder, stunning biopic realisations and an unrelenting love for New York which seems to play a central part to many of his films. Such is the prowess of this director, he attracts some of the biggest names in the business to work with him, names such as Robert DeNiro, Leonardo Di Caprio and Daniel Day Lewis.
