Top 10 Queer Horror & Sci-Fi Icons

From Buffy to Frank-N-Furter, from Catwoman’s latex whip to Jennifer’s man-eating smirk — these are the characters who made horror and sci-fi deliciously queer. In this three-hour HOT AIR Halloween special, host Joshua MacLean dives fang-first into the top ten horror, thriller, and sci-fi icons that shaped queer culture forever. Why do these characters speak to us so deeply? Maybe it’s the camp, maybe it’s the chaos, or maybe it’s the fact that every final girl and misunderstood monster has a little bit of us in them. Expect plenty of sass, cultural analysis with a wink, and a few glittery soundbites from your favorite cult classics. Grab your garlic, your stilettos, and your sense of irony — because it’s time to celebrate the dark, the dramatic, and the divinely queer.
