February is just like creeping along, isn't it? Is it near or did January just kind of go fast? And February is just kind of creeping along. I don't know.
I learned things today. I'm happy about learning things today. Here's one of the things I learned. Artificial intelligence has a couple of big players.
The biggest player is chat GPT. Oh, by the way, you're listening to The Daily Grateful and I am Michael Gross. I am the Chief Grateful Guy. Is that what I am?
I need a shirt. Chief Grateful Guy. I know I need a better shirt. I need your help on that.
But anyway, I went on chat GPT today. Chat GPT 3.5, it's the free one. It used to be 3.0. But now it's 3.5, the free one.
And then I try to go to Google Bard. This is what I learned today. Google Bard is no longer Google Bard. It's Gemini.
And it does, on the same app, it does graphics. So that's good. I like that. I'm going to play with it after the podcast.
I'm going to try some things with it and have it do graphics. But anyway, I went on both of them again today. I've done this before. We're going to do it again and we're going to compare.
And here's the question. Please write the top five things in the world to be grateful for it. I want you to think about that. OK, I haven't even started reading it yet.
But I want you to think about that. And I'm thinking about it. And before I even look at the answers, I'm going to say that the top thing in the world that I'm grateful for are my chilines. OK, and my grand chilines.
I haven't quite, I think the grand chilines may be a little bit more. No, I'm not. Love them all. My children.
And here's a fun thing about that. My late mother, her name was Lee. She was a beautiful woman. And I've got a little picture of her that I've got to find here.
Because something happened today that made me even more grateful for family. And that is, I went to my nephew Chuck's tattoo parlor. I'd never been there. And as a matter of fact, I haven't had a close relationship with my two nephews.
OK, now my brother just passed away. And I've been over the past seven or so days, very close with two of my nephews. Very, very, very close. Because we've all been sitting at the hospital together with my brother.
And we've had wonderful talks. And my opinion of Chuck has just changed so much. I respect him so much. So today, after a medical appointment that I had, I swung by his tattoo shop, which was right around the corner.
And I walked in, and he's showing me around the place. He's got a beautiful operation there. And he takes me to the front desk. And there's this red-haired woman there.
Something just connected with me. I said, that's family. And that is family like you wouldn't believe. And I remembered a picture that was in my mom's house of her when she was probably 18 years of age.
And my niece, I'm not going to give her name out, because it's personal stuff. But holy cow, she was my mom when my mom was 18. Because I've got a picture of my mom when she was 18. And there's my niece.
And they're identical. They are flat, freaking identical. And I just sat there and met her and enjoyed visiting with her and did everything I could not to cry. Because I was looking at my mom when she was 18.
So I'm grateful for that. Now, let's get into this thing if we can. The top five things in the world to be grateful for. I'm grateful for family.
Grateful I just met my niece who looks just like my mom. But according to Gemini, number one is life itself. Yeah, OK. It is the ability to experience the world in its joys and challenges.
It's a precious gift. Yes, I'll go along with that. What does chat GPT put as number one? Let's go over there.
Health, good health is often taken granted for until it's compromised. Well, in my family, we learned that here just recently. Yeah, now let's stay with chat GPT and go with number two. Relationships, meaningful connections with family and friends and loved ones and rich our lives in countless ways.
Holy cow did that prove true to me today when I met my niece. And that was family. And I mean, the total pure essence of family. I've often said that all of the crows children look like they all look like my mom.
Same complexion, same hair color. But I said that all the crows male offspring. And the strange thing is we don't have a lot of women. We don't.
But Charles, my nephew Charles seems to have broken that. And here's this 18-year-old wonderful person who had the same personality as my mom, the same look. The same look in her eyes. Wow.
Yeah. Relationships. Yeah. Let's go over to Gemini and see what they said.
Love and connection, feeling loved and connected with other things. Brings immense meaning of life. Yeah. Learn that in the last seven to 10 days.
That's for sure. Staying with Gemini. Let's go to number three, your health. Both physical and mental good health allows you to experience life in its fullest.
Yes. Let's go over to Chatey PT and see what they say. Nature. Yeah.
The beauty and abundance of natural world is often solace for air inspiration and wonder. OK. Yeah. Blah, blah, blah, blah.
All right. Let's go to number four, staying on Chatey PT. Freedom. The ability to express one's self, make choices, and pursue one's dreams without fear of oppression and persecution is a precious gift.
Sure it is. I'll go with that. Over to Gemini. Learning and growth.
I'd like this one better for number four. The ability to learn and grow and evolve is a unique human gift. Yeah. And their fifth on Gemini and final goes back to something that was already covered on Chatey PT.
And that's Nature's beauty from the majestic mountains to the delicate flowers. The natural world offers endless beauty and wonder to be grateful for. And number five on Chatey PT. And I got to say Chatey PT is winning again today.
Opportunities. That's their number five thing to be grateful for is opportunities, access to education, employment, creativity, personal growth opportunities, open doors for a better future, recognizing and seizing the opportunities for learning advancement, self improvement, and all of the opportunities that we have. Yeah. I will go with that.
So what do you think? I want you to think about in your own life the top five things for you to be grateful for. Maybe write it down. Maybe not.
Maybe just think about it. I'm not the gratitude cop. I'm the gratitude podcaster. Now, former radio broadcaster.
Grateful to be here. But think about your five things. What are they? Is health number one?
Is relationships number one? Is life itself number one? I'm just grateful to be grateful. We'll see you tomorrow.
