Top 9 Misconstrued Scriptures in the Bible Against Mormons

The 9 Bible verses Christians misuse against Latter-day Saints the most — and how to actually respond with context, history, and logic. In this episode, apologists Gospel Guardian (Braden) and Brittany the Shadow join Ward Radio to tackle the repeat offenders:Revelation 22:18-19 – “Don’t add to the Bible” (Book of Mormon attack)Galatians 1:8 – “Another angel preaching a different gospel” (Angel Moroni)John 10:30 – “I and the Father are one” (Trinity proof-text)1 John 5:7 – The Comma Johanneum (later interpolation added to support Trinity)Isaiah 43:10 – “No God formed before or after me” (plurality of gods)Hebrews 1:1-2 – God spoke by prophets… now by His Son (no modern prophets)Ephesians 2:8-9 – Saved by grace through faith, not worksMatthew 22:30 – “Neither marry nor given in marriage” in the resurrectionJohn 4:24 – “God is a Spirit”They explain why cherry-picking destroys meaning, why definitions matter (“gospel,” “one,” “works”), how the Trinity isn’t explicitly taught in the Bible, and why the LDS position actually fits the full scriptural context better in almost every case.0:00 - Intro & Guests: Gospel Guardian + Brittany the Shadow1:45 - #1 Revelation 22:18-19 – “Don’t Add to the Bible” (Book of Mormon)8:15 - #2 Galatians 1:8 – Another Angel / Different Gospel?
