Top five must-have food items at a Super Bowl party.

from ROCK MORNINGS · host Brian Simpson

Not sure what it was…but something I ate yesterday kept me up all night. Needless to say, I'm definitely planning on a nap this afternoon. Big day today as we inch closer to Sunday's Super Bowl! We talked about some of the commercials that we'll be seeing on Sunday, and we discussed the five food items that must be at a Super Bowl party. We let you know what's new on New Release Tuesday and we were scheduled to talk to Grant Bilse who is in New Orleans for a week of live broadcasts on "Radio Row"…but he was busy setting up interviews and we put our chat with him on the back burner until Thursday morning. In the news this morning, an Amber Alert has been issued in Wisconsin for a pregnant teenager, Air Wisconsin is planning on some pretty massive layoffs of it's workforce, and a truck carrying eggs crashed on a freeway in LA. In sports, the Bucks lost again last night to the Thunder, the Badgers slid in the most recent AP Top 25 rankings, Myles Garrett is looking to get out of Cleveland, and the Rams are apparently looking to get rid of Cooper Kupp. Elsewhere in sports, fans in Canada continue to boo the United States National Anthem, a gambling ring is under investigation for it's role in some unusual wagering in both the NBA & the NCAA, and an MLB umpire was just fired for sharing a legal sports betting account with a friend who then bet on baseball games. Interesting results from a study on the impact of playing Bingo with seniors, and we obviously see snow every winter…but for a lot of people in the South, they've never seen it before. Like this guy who absolutely LOVED it! Facebook turns 21 years old today, and in honor of it's birthday, we ran down a list of things you shouldn't post on social media. And in today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a United Airlines flight that caught fire as it was taking off, another flight that had no working restrooms, a woman who discovered her husband was having an affair, a guy who stole a car from a dealership after they denied his loan application, and a guy was shot & killed after he told his friend he could dodge bullets.
